Dear Harry, Manly, and Randy

Me and the wife was sitting around the other night when the spirit moved me and I let one fly. Now we been married a long time and it ain't the first rose bud I ever dropped but the old lady acted like I had committed some sort of crime.

I guess she was mostly upset cause the minister, his wife and two daughters happened to be visiting....Sure, like none of them ever passed a little gas. When I have my friends over for an evening of relaxing, sucking down some brews, and watching some sports and /or “R” rated DVDs we all let 'em fly and no one seems to care, in fact it sometimes it becomes a bit of a contest. So I'm asking the three of you to give me some help in this area. Exactly what causes gas? What are the complications that can be caused by holding it in? And finally when is it acceptable to let it out?

BTW I think your shows are a GAS!
